What size cakes do you offer?  We have:
How many servings can I expect from each whole cheesecake?
  • ​​If you feel generous you can cut  10- 12 slices from an 8 inch cake respectively.
  • If you feel greedy, just slice 8.
  • To serve several, know that our new 12 inch size can serve 30-35 persons.  It's a special order item that requires 1-day advance order placement.

Is ordering easy?
Of course it is. Especially when you have choice! Simply:

- Choose pick-up, delivery/shipping

Can I just walk in and shop?  Do you have the full inventory of cake sizes at your kitchen?
Our store carries 4inch round personal sized and 8 inch whole cakes daily!  We also have other items that are special order which require a 24-hour advance order placement.  View the Special Order menu by click here to see them:

Do you have a Covid-19 safety policy?
  • We take sanitation serious and operate in alignment with guidelines that are outlined with the Center for Disease Control and local regulators when preparing, packaging and serving our products.  Gloves, masks, frequent hand washing, frequent surface cleaning, social distancing, and the use of shields and hand sanitizer products are protocol.  All patrons and delivery persons must wear a mask when picking up product at our facility.

Are Schweet Original Homemade Chicago cheesecakes really as great as the chatter says?
  • You bet, but you be the judge.  See our customer videos on this page and reviews here.

What are your kitchen hours and location?
  • We are open Tuesday through Friday from 12 - 6pm and Saturdays from 11am - 4pm at 5248 W. Chicago Avenue in Chicago.  Stop our store during these times to shop at your leisure.
  • Order online for quick and easy order placement which is the best method.
  • Or you can reach us by phone to place an order for pickup or delivery. 
  • You can choose curbside pick-up at checkout. 

Can I freeze your cheesecakes? If so, how long will they remain fresh?
  • Of course you can freeze them, if you desire, and we hear they are just as amazingly delightful when they unthaw!  They keep for approximately 4 months.  They keep 5-7 days in a good fridge. Thanks for asking.​

Are there allergens in your products? 
  • Some of our products contain nuts and/or are prepared in a kitchen that is exposed to nuts. All products contain dairy. Our traditional graham crust contains wheat flour and soybean oil.  Our oatmeal crust does not.  Did you know that we have a gluten free cheesecake.  See it here.​

What if I place an order and don't specify in the note box when I'd like to have it delivered?
  • We will contact you in 1 or more ways (text, voice message or email).  If we do not receive a reply from you by end of business day, we will proceed to deliver it the next day at our next delivery opportunity.  It will be delivered in a no-contact fashion to your location and you will be notified of its arrival.

Do you have bundles or dessert table packages?

  • We get this request quite often, however, we do not currently offer this service.

Once I place my online order, what are the next steps?  How do I ensure timely and complete fulfillment of my cheesecake(s)?
  • Once you place your order online you will receive a confirmation email with the purchase details and an order number.  When your order is ready you can then expect an email, personal phone call and/or text message to confirm its readiness.  It's personal.

​I heard that you have a great tasting gluten-free cheesecake.  Tell me more!
  • You heard well.  You can choose a gluten free cheesecake type when ordering any of our cheesecakes.  Be assured that it is free of gluten, from the signature batter down to the crust - and it tastes great.  The crust is finely prepared with an oatmeal base to help bind and sweeten without compromising taste and texture.  ​

ABOUT DELIVERY & PICKUP
Do you deliver? 
  • We make deliveries to locations within a 13 mile radius from our shop. We are also on several digital delivery platforms.  Click "more options" in the map below and enter your address to determine if you are within our delivery area.  Or, click the digital delivery logos on this page to see if we deliver to your address.

  • Orders that total $40.00 or more earn free delivery/shipping. Simply state your preferred delivery date and preferred time in the "Note to Seller" textbox which will appear during the online checkout process after payment info is entered. Delivery can be made within 1 hour of the order placed and only during operating hours and can only be made within a 15 mile radius: Tuesday - Friday 12noon to 6pm CST and Saturdays 11am - 4pm CST. To-date, all orders are no-contact and will be left at the designated address as stated in the order form.​

If I'd like a future delivery when must I place my order?
  • At any time you can place a future order that is next day or up to 90 days into the future.  State your date and time of fulfillment during the checkout process. ​

  • How do I state where I'd like to have a cake delivered if it is other than my own address or home location? During the checkout process you have access to a note box where you should state the specific date and time of your requested delivery.  Also, we will deliver your order to the recipient name and address that you list in the Shipping section of your order form.

What if I or my recipient misses the delivery?
  • We are not obligated to leave your order with anyone or at any location that you did not pre-authorize according to your order note.  Please be sure to provide accurate and reliable information to ensure a timely and successful delivery.  Orders that are not deliverable will be returned to our kitchen and refunded minus a $5 distribution fee.  Customers will be notified in such instances during the delivery attempt.  We are not able to make re-delivery attempts.

What is your return and delivery/shipping policy?
  • As our products are perishable, all food sales are final. However, Schweet will be happy to issue a store credit in the unlikely event that they might be damaged during delivery our company.  When picking up and transporting products from our location to your destination we urge customers to make the necessary storage and refrigeration arrangements in advance so that they can enjoy the full flavor and freshness of our products.

What if I place an order for pick-up and I miss picking it up?
  • We will hold your order for 24 hours.  All orders placed that go unclaimed/picked up are non-refundable.

What if I place an order for delivery to a location that is outside of your 15-mile radius?  
  • We will not be able to deliver it, and your order will be refunded electronically within 3 - 7 business days.  You will be notified of its undeliverable status by email or text message.

Where do I enter my special coupon code?

  • We sure can.  Contact us to discuss toppings and sizes for your special day.  
Do you have gift cards?
  • Of course we do. Come in store to purchase a plastic card or Purchase an E-gift card here. Both can be redeemed online or in-store.  It makes the perfect gift!

​What items are special order?
  • ​Our 12 pound 12 inch round cakes, our cheesecake cupcakes and gluten free options require a 24-hour advance order placement.  As you can guess, multiple small portions and large items require more attention to preparation and packaging.
POLICY AND CONTACT INFORMATION
I've requested a refund.  When and how will I receive it?
  • All sales of our perishable product are final, however, refunds are granted for items purchased that have not yet been fulfilled.  If paid for by cash, then the item will be refunded by cash.  If paid for with a credit or debit card, then it will be refunded electronically.  Expect to see electronic refunds reflected with your financial institution within 3-7 business days.
  • Note:  Requests for a refund must be made no less than 2 days prior to the date of expected delivery/fulfillment.  For catering/commercial orders, a refund must be requested no less than 5 days prior to the date of expected delivery/fulfillment.

​Will you share my contact information with third parties and/or send me lots of messages I don't want to receive?
  • ​No.  Your data is personal and we do not share or sell it with third parties or affiliates of any kind.  We value your privacy.  We would never abuse our relationship with you.  We send no more than 2 monthly emails.  We will occasionally send you a "pop up" shop text message (no more than 2 monthly) alerting you to special  Schweet sampling events in Chicago.  Of course, you can always opt out of our mailing list at your leisure.
