Schweet Cheesecake Influencer Afternoon Event Series - Success!

We invited foodies and fans to our live 7-course tasting event in February to have an experience with the Schweet Cheesecake menu of entrees, desserts and beverages. The social media event was a hit, as influencers posted, shared and went live to give their honest opinion on texture and taste. We can't wait to do it again. Schweet Cheesecake Trains Its First Interns Summer 2022

We're excited to announce that for the first time, Schweet Original Homemade Chicago Cheesecake is partnering with C-CAP (Careers through Culinary Arts Program) to train interns this summer! This opportunity helps us to fulfill an objective of fostering entrepreneurship among youth in the Chicago community. CCAP recruits ambitious and talented high school students from the Chicago Public School's WBL (Work Based Learning) program who have a unique interest in the particular fields. They are then matched with organizations like us to spend 8 weeks learning and refining their craft. Schweet Cheesecake Supports Entrepreneurs in Ujamaa Program

Schweet Cheesecake knows how important entrepreneurship is to a community. That's why we started the retail program called Ujamaa. Ujamaa is Swahili for cooperative economics, so in this spirit, we invite local sellers to display and sell their products on our shelves. When you visit our cafe you'll be able to browse and purchase one-of-a-kind eyewear, handmade candles and even limited edition custom printed enamel pins from local entrepreneurs. On 7/14 we'll be celebrating with Van Johnson, the star of the reality show, Black Ink, at his birthday celebration.
